Semester Kick-Off: First Day of Class

  • Wed, Sep 16: Python, Data Analytics, Machine Learning courses

  • Thurs, Sep 17: HTML/CSS, JS, FS Bootcamp, Cybersecurity and Circle courses.

Semester Demo Day: Last Day of Class

  • Wed, Dec 9: Python, Data Analytics, Machine Learning courses

  • Thurs, Dec 10 HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Cybersecurity , Bootcamps, and Circle courses.

Preparation Phase starts mid-August!

  • Web Development: HTML/CSS, JavaScript and Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp

  • Data: Python, Data Analytics and AI & Machine Learning

  • Cybersecurity

  • Project Courses: Full Stack Circle and Data Circle (close-to-closed job simulation courses)

  • Passion for tech and supporting learners

  • Interest in leveling up your skills

  • Open, empathetic communication style

  • Reliability and good time management

  • English proficiency (all courses and materials are in English)

  • No prior teaching experience required


πŸ“… Course Structure & Schedule

  • Semester Dates: 14 weeks

    • Spring Semester: March–June

    • Fall Semester: September–December

  • Class Schedule: Weekdays (Mon–Thurs), evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 PM

    • Regular courses: 2 sessions per week

    • Full Stack Bootcamp: 3 sessions per week

  • Time Commitment: Minimum of 7 sessions per semester

    • Approx. 2–4 hours per week including preparation, teaching and extra team session

  • Format: Primarily 100% online

    • 1 in-person session per semester for Hamburg-based courses

  • Students per course: 25 approximately

  • Team Teaching: Classes are delivered in a team-based format alongside other instructors

  • Diversity: Represent 32+ nationalities, average age 31

  • Backgrounds: Finance, Engineering, Biology, and more; most hold a bachelor’s degree

  • Employment status: 40% underemployed, 35% unemployed, 25% students

  • Motivations & challenges: Learning tech careers, varying prior knowledge, different learning speeds, personal situations (e.g., childcare), life transitions

  • Locations: Hamburg, Berlin & NRW

  • Teach or co-teach at least 50% of sessions (approx. 7 classes per semester) or demonstrate exceptional impact

  • Take ownership of at least two sessions per semester for a full teaching experience

  • Attend planning meetings and mid-semester touchpoints, and provide course feedback

  • Actively support students, collaborate with the teaching team

  • Be respectful with the time of your teaching team and communicate your availability in advance

  • Foster a respectful, inclusive learning environment
