AI Usage at Redi School

Note that Students are informed that usage of AI note taking/transcription tools is strictly prohibited during live sessions, due to GDPR concerns.

AI is now a powerful part of how professionals learn, create, and work. We expect that students will want to use AI as part of their learning journey, but we want to ensure that they use it effectively, rather than just as a crutch.

This semester, They'll have the chance to attend an AI awareness workshop, and will also get practical experience with an AI-assisted peer review session as part of your course.

Below, you'll find the slides from a teacher facing workshop we ran at the beginning of the semester, with the intention to help you:

• Reflect on AI usage and misuse in their courses.

• Use AI to help with lesson planning.

• Learn how to design AI resistant course material.

• Encourage learners to use AI to augment their learning rather than replace it.

• Recognise signs of AI overuse and understand the reason behind it.
