Present your Project
Why Your Presentation is Important:
Presenting your work will play a big role in the hiring process and later at work. In the interview process, you will be asked to describe a project you worked on. You will need to describe the project quickly, highlight the essential features and your learnings, and overcome challenges within a few minutes. Presenting your project during the bootcamp will help you prepare for such a pitch.
Your Presentation
5 Minutes: You have 5 minutes for your presentation. The coaches will stop you afterward.
Focus on the Essential: As you only have 5 minutes, make sure to share what is most important about your project.
Slides or Code? You can use any format. However, we recommend showing your visual solution instead of Code or Slides.
Graduation: Presentation is necessary for graduation.
Grow Together: We focus on learning and growing. Let's support each other through helpful feedback.
Best Practices for Your 5-Minute Project Presentation:
Start with the Problem: Briefly introduce the project goal and why you believe the project is important for yourself.
Show Your Solution: Show a quick demo of your project. Walk through one or two main features so your audience can see it in action. Focus on the main features or design elements, and keep it simple.
Highlight Key Decisions and Learnings: Share a few important decisions you made during the project. For example, talk about a design choice, a technology you used, or a challenge you overcame. End by mentioning what you learned or any skills you developed through the project.
Practice Timing: Practice your presentation a few times to ensure you stay within the 5-minute limit. Focus on being clear and concise.
