# Full Stack Circle

### About the Course

The course is fully project-focused. Students pick a platform or website to clone and spend the semester building it, learning **full-stack skills, collaboration, and project management**.\
**Outcome:** A working full-stack project with frontend-backend integration, testing, meaningful complexity, and a complete log of milestones, delivered in **three 3-week sprints**.

### 📚 Course Details

* **Schedule:** Tuesday & Thursday, 19:00–21:00 (Online)
* **Format:** Project-Based Course
* **Session Types:**
  * <mark style="color:orange;background-color:$danger;">**Preparation Sessions:**</mark> Project setup, tooling, and team alignment
  * <mark style="color:orange;background-color:$danger;">**Project Sessions:**</mark>  General standups and updates in the main room, followed by breakout rooms for team work
  * <mark style="color:orange;background-color:$danger;">**Flex Workshop Sessions**</mark> Workshops or sessions tailored to team needs (e.g. recurring technical topics, interview simulations, or student-requested deep dives)
* **Final Outcome:** Full Project\
  Students work on a full-stack project of their choice, gaining hands-on experience in development, testing, debugging, and project management through real deliverables.

### 👥 Volunteer Roles

<mark style="color:orange;background-color:$danger;">**Preparation Sessions:**</mark> Project setup, tooling, and team alignment

* **Session Owner:** Leads classes, introduces new concepts, and facilitates hands-on practice to help students apply them.
* **Session Assistant:** Supports students and manages Zoom logistics during class.

<mark style="color:orange;background-color:$danger;">**Project Sessions:**</mark> General standups and updates in the main room, followed by breakout rooms for team work

* **Guide:** Acts as a Product Owner and Mentor, guiding the students in their project decisions.
* **Guide & Attendance Tracker:** Acts as a Product Owner and Mentor and additionally tracks student attendance.

<mark style="color:orange;background-color:$danger;">**Flex Workshop Sessions:**</mark> Workshops or sessions tailored to team needs (e.g. recurring technical topics, interview simulations, or student-requested deep dives)

* **Session Owner:** Leads classes, introduces new concepts, and facilitates hands-on practice to help students apply them.
* **Session Assistant:** Supports students and manages Zoom logistics during class.

* Full Stack Development concepts
* Frontend & Backend integration
* Databases and data management
* API usage and 3rd-party integrations
* Testing, debugging, and clean code principles
* Project management and sprint planning

### 🎓 Final Project

At the end of the course, students complete one full-stack project, broken into weekly milestones and sprints and at the end they give a **presentation** demonstrating their learning.

During **Demo Day Celebration**, one representative developer or team presents their project to the ReDI course community, demonstrating their learning and achievements.
